How to Run a Science Fair, an Online Manual

Part 5: curriculum Links

Any topic in science is suitable for a science fair project. Students may perform a science fair project to enrich their learning of any specific foundational objective in the curriculum; however, they may also use the opportunity to study any scientific topics that are not covered in the curriculum. A science fair project focuses on scientific process, not content, so specific foundational objectives have been left out of this appendix. Below are links to common essential learnings and the dimensions of scientific literacy, which can help connect a science fair project to any topic in science classroom.
